Vitatheoingenium

So, here I go- my first blog... I thought I'd start by explaining a bit about the name that I chose for my blog, since I just made it up using google searches to find the latin meaning for words. If you break the name "Vitatheoingenium" into the 3 Latin words, you end up with this: "Vita," "Theo" and "Engenium," which strung togther in English means, "LifeGodEngineering." Why put those 3 words together? Well, because where I'm at right now in my journey of life, I am trying to blend all 3 together. I am striving to let the good news that Jesus proclaimed about the Kingdom of God to sink deeply into every part of my life- not just the "spiritual" stuff, but even the ordinary boring things. My goal is to live a life of purpose, a life that will make an impact on the world and the people that come across my path, a life that will bring honor and glory to God, and a life of excitement and adventure. So that kind of explains the Life and God part, but what about Engineering? Well, one thing I like about engineering is that engineers don't just sit around and study stuff or write about stuff, they actually build something new or fix something that is broken. An engineer bridges the gap between scientific theory and practical application. So that's what I would like to do in this blog- I would like to spend some time thinking about my thoughts, and then move in to discover how those thoughts are impacting my life... and maybe they will impact yours too!
